Agile Business (L)
Friday 14.00 - 14.45
Session type: Lecture
Nobody needs an Agile Transformation
As Agilists at conferences such as this we meet in an echo chamber, speaking the language of the Agility. However this isn’t the language of the C-Suite and so can result in conflict or miss-set expectations. How do we avoid this? The fact is that agility is a means to an end, not an end in itself. We will look at framing the transformation in the language of business outcomes and consider the role of both transformational leadership and organisational model in the success of the transformation.
Phil is an independent agile coach from a development background who has worked internationally in a variety of senior delivery roles with teams at varying levels of agile maturity. Phil has a specialist interest in agile leadership and agile governance, most recently having partnered with Software Cornwall to deliver a workshop programme in this area.
