Agility in HR Analytics bringing business benefit
We are starting the Fourth Industrial Revolution and with this comes many opportunities and challenges when considering the Future of Work.
To embrace this at Unilever our HR function has a dedicated analytics team to bring people insights to decision making. We do this in an agile way, understanding the business need and creating hypothesis which can then be tested in our experiments.
We also engage with new technology, tools and techniques, start up companies and industry leaders to create new practices in this field.
UNILEVER CAREER: I lead the People Analytics, Organisation Effectiveness and Workforce Planning agendas for Unilever. I have worked for Unilever for 20 years in HR, initially as a graduate trainee.
I have spent the majority of my career as an HR Business Partner for teams from R&D to Marketing and Supply Chain to Finance. I have always had a deep interest in both analytics and organizational design and my current role enables me to use my experience and passions for the benefit of Unilever’s customers and people.
PERSONAL: I have had 2 fantastic boys (12 and 10), which is why I chose to work part-time after my first period of maternity leave. Over the last 11 years I have worked 3 days and now 4 days a week and love my work life balance.
