A Test of Strength

When it comes to writing tests we often live in the here-and-now and consequently end up producing “write-only” tests. This session looks at what we need to consider if we want to create sustainable tests that our future selves and team-mates will find valuable instead of just another burden.


Chris is a freelance programmer who started out as a bedroom coder in the 80’s writing assembler on 8-bit micros; these days it’s enterprise grade technology in plush corporate offices. He also commentates on the Godmanchester duck race.
