On Thursday and Friday the Agile on the Beach conference takes place in Falmouth.
Attendees are set to enjoy two-days of 30 speaker workshops at the cutting edge of Agile business and software. On top of this, the conference hosts three evenings of social events; a pre-conference campus gathering for pizza and introductions, a fantastic beach party at Gyllyngvase with live music and beach games and a retrospective dinner at Falmouth’s Wheelhouse shellfish restaurant, all adding to the conference experience.
This year’s conference sold out with 5 weeks to spare and is set to be a stand-out event with over 220 delegates, speakers and sponsors gathering from across the Globe.
Mike Barritt, director and co-founder adds “We are thrilled to be sold out and we are set to deliver another fantastic event this year. This year brings together local, national and international talents to explore and evolve the ever changing world of agile business”.
The conference is sponsored by South West based Unlocking Potential as well as a wealth of other sponsors and supporters from Cornwall and farther afield. New sponsors Atlassian, who have offices in Amsterdam and San Francisco, are flying in to sponsor the event and beach party.
Speakers will be joining the conference from Israel, Germany and the Netherlands, with delegates from all over the UK and Europe set to make the trip to Cornwall.
Belinda Waldock, marketing lead for the conference and business coach with sponsor Oxford Innovation, comments “The growth of Agile and the software sector in Cornwall is an absolute joy to be a part of, the strength and passion for growth we have in our business community is remarkable.
Cornwall is well known historically for its talents in mining, marine, railway and telecoms engineering. Agile on the Beach shines a light on the software engineering talent Cornwall has in today’s age of technological revolution”.
