Agile on the Beach returns to Falmouth this year to host 30 UK and International Agile speakers in a one of a kind conference on the Cornish coast. Taking place on the 5th and 6th of September, Agile on the Beach is a two day business and technology conference with a difference.
The conference brings together 200 people to explore, evolve and find out what it means to be truly agile in business; from its culture to product development practices.
Agile on the Beach offers the chance to engage with the UK’s leading thinkers in agile adoption and evolution and explore the latest agile and lean thinking. The conference also offers ample networking opportunities, such as the fantastic beach party on Falmouth’s famous Gyllyngvase Beach.
The conference explores three strands of agile adoption – Software Craftsmanship, Business Strategy and Teams. This year we welcome speakers on the adoption of Agile in mainstream businesses, and Agile in a marketing team, as well as sustaining our core technical theme.
Agile on the Beach are now pleased to be able to reveal the fantastic line up of speakers at this years event.
In the Business segment of the conference we are thrilled to announce keynote Gabriel Steinhardt, an Internationally recognised technology product management expert. Joining Gabriel to look at Agile in business is Judith Andresen, an experienced project coach with the infallible intuition to know what is blocking an IT project, David Lowe, ScrumMaster and Agile Coach at online high-end fashion site NET-A-PORTER and Belinda Waldock of Oxford Innovation, who will be sharing insights into the broader adoption of agile through the Grow Cornwall programme.
Also exploring the business benefits of Agile will be Daniel Burm, a business and marketing expert with an agile mindset, Mark Craddock, who looks after the UK Government’s G-Cloud and will be exploring G-Cloud and the new CloudStore and Agile veteran Romilly Cocking, who runs hardware vendor Quick2Wire and was coaxed out of retirment to work on the Rasberry Pi .
If that wasn’t enough for those looking at ways to apply Agile in business, the conference will also benefit from Ewan Milne, who has over 20 years experience in the software development industry, currently working for IPL in Bath. Rachel Davies, “Co-author of “”Agile Coaching” who works at Unruly Media in London, will also be offering her insights as well as André Tanguy, one of the co-founders of web consultancy and online software provider Oceans HQ, who will explore Selling Agile to Enterprise Customers.
